Open Analytics → PROMs analytics to see patient outcomes and PROMs completion rates.
Choosing what to view
- Surgeon — select a surgeon. Outcomes and completion rates are shown one surgeon at a time.
- Outcome submission dates — enter a Start date and End date and click Apply dates, or click All time. Dates use UTC. The date filter applies to scored submissions; the completion rates cover all issued forms for the selected surgeon.
- Procedure and Instrument — choose the procedure, then the scored instrument (for example VAS Pain) to see its results.
PROMs outcomes
- Mean score vs benchmark — the average score at the selected benchmark timepoint (3, 6 or 12 months), compared with any verified benchmark your clinic has set up. See Setting outcome benchmarks.
- Average pre-op, Average post-op and Mean change, with the number of registrations that have scores.
- A trend chart of the mean score at each timepoint, with a note showing whether a lower or higher score is better.
- A Scores and contributors table with the mean score and number of responses at each timepoint.
Each timepoint can include different patients, so the mean change is not a paired measure of each patient's improvement.
Completion rates
The summary cards show Episodes with issued PROMs, Completion Rate (issued vs completed), Completed and Overdue. Below, PROMs Status by Timepoint and Completion Rate by Timepoint break results down across each of your clinic's timepoints.
